Product Description
SUPER-BOND PASTE is a unique 100% solids, solvent-free, thixotropic, two-component paste epoxy system. It is multifunctional formulation meeting a wide range of building and civil engineering needs.
Product Uses
SUPER-BOND PASTE epoxy system is a high strength adhesive to concrete and masonry substrates. It may be used for:
- Concrete repair and joint reclamation on concrete decks, floors, culverts, bridges, reservoirs, sewage tanks, etc.
- Surface sealing of cracks prior to epoxy crack injection processes using GCP WATER-BAR™ grout and packers.
- Embedding adhesive for SUPER-JOINT™ X rubber membrane to expansion joints in decks and reservoirs.
- SUPER-BOND PASTE has excellent adhesion to most surfaces including: concrete, masonry, brick, CFC, metal, etc.

Preparation
Surface must be clean, sound, and dry and dust free. Apply SUPERBOND PASTE adhesive directly to the prepared substrate - cracks may be chased prior to application, if desired.
Application
Mix SUPER-BOND PASTE Adhesive carefully using a Jiffy or paddle mixer and low-speed electric drill. Avoid air entrapment during mixing. Mix only enough material that can be used within the recommended work time and prevailing ambient conditions.
Apply firmly to substrate by trowel or spatula to a minimum thickness of approximately 0.5mm. This product may be applied to a maximum thickness of 30mm in a single application without occurrence of post-cure shrinkage.
Allow SUPER-BOND PASTE Adhesive to cure a minimum 24 hours before subjecting to stress or load.
Note: This product is not suitable for application to wet substrates or over water flowing cracks. Substrate and cracks should be dry to slightly damp only.

Coverage
Consumption will vary depending on type of application. Theoretical yield of 4 lit set is 2m2 at 2.0mm thickness (DFT) or approx. 0.3 – 0.4 lit /lin metre SUPER-JOINT X.
Clean Up
Use MULTITEK™ XYLENE before curing. Exercise care when using solvents and review all MSDS before use.

SUPER-BOND PASTE Adhesive 4 litre set.
