Product Description
BITUSTIK™ Tape Super is a double-sided tape with a special, highly aggressive adhesive. It is supplied in convenient rolls with a protective release sheet inter-wind.
Product Uses
BITUSTIK™ Tape super can be used as high strength waterproof jointing. It is designed to fix RAPID-DRAIN™ or PROTECTOBOARD™ to GCP waterproof membranes. BITUSTIK™ Tape Super bonds protection to membrane in critical situations and joins WATER-BAR™ PHX 230 PVC Waterstop to Preprufe® membranes.

Preparation
Surfaces must be sound, dry and free from dust, loose matter, oil, grease or other contaminants. Examine installed waterproof membrane system for site damage prior to installing any protective covering. Any damage must be carefully repaired and allowed to fully cure before installing covering.
Application
Unroll tape and adhere exposed surface to the GCP membrane. Leave release sheet on the tape until just before applying the drainage composite. BITUSTIK™ Tape and its release sheet may be cut with a utility knife. Peel release sheet and press product to be bonded onto adhesive surface to facilitate adhesion.

Protective Systems
RAPID-DRAIN™ drainage composite
- Vertical – If drops are 1.8 to 2.4 m, use strip of tape at top, another in middle and a third strip near bottom. If longer drops, use tape as required to give adequate support.
- Horizontal – Use BITUSTIK™ Tape as required to achieve desired bond.
PROTECTOBOARD™
- Vertical - apply small strip of tape near corners and centre of board. Place Protectoboard onto membrane surface and press firmly over tape areas to assure a good bond.
- Horizontal – It may be necessary to use additional or larger pieces of BITUSTIK™ Tape in high wind conditions.
WATER-BAR™ PHX 230 PVC Waterstop
Apply BITUSTIK™ Tape Super onto prepared PREPRUFE® membrane centred over the expansion or construction joint location. BITUSTIK™ Tape Super must be applied to form full coverage for the full width of the waterstop, using multiple applications of tape.
Pressure roll tape to ensure full adhesion. Remove release sheet from tape and apply waterstop to tape, pressing firmly in place.

Store in a cool, dry place.
