Product Description

TYTRO® RM 471 is a high performance, liquid rheology-modifying admixture based on a highly purified mineral using a patented process that creates pure, uniformly-sized, rod-shape particles, to improve cohesion, adhesion and early strength development to shotcrete.

TYTRO® RM 471 does not contain any Triethanolamine and complies to Australia admixture standard AS 1478.1 as a Type SN.

Application

TYTRO® RM 471 is suitable for all shotcrete applications where high early and final strength, low rebound, and large layer thickness in a single pass are required, and especially in the following applications:

  • Temporary and permanent rock support in tunnels
  • Rock support in mining
  • Slope stabilisation

Addition Rates

The dosage of TYTRO® RM 471 ranges between 0.5% and 2% by weight of cement It is GCP’s recommendation that trials are conducted beforehand to determine the optimum dose range to suit your application. If further assistance is required please consult your local GCP representative.

Compatibility

TYTRO® RM 471 is compatible with TYTRO® admixtures for shotcrete applications. For use with other shotcrete admixture systems, we recommend you to contact GCP Applied Technolgoies for further advice.

Packaging & Storage

TYTRO® RM 471 is available in 1,000L totes and by bulk delivery. Shelf life is 12 months.
