BETEC FLX 110 has excellent resistance to soil conditions and saline conditions. It is suited to cementitious substrates, in-situ or pre-cast concrete, render, masonry as well as PALC lightweight block and brick.

Features

  • Non-Toxic, low VOC, Green Star compliant
  • One component, add water, easy to use
  • Used for both positive and negative waterproofing
  • Anti-Efflorescence Sealer – used over tile bed on decks and in wet areas to prevent calcium staining
  • Withstands immersion and 60m water head pressure
  • Excellent flexibility and crack bridging
  • Suitable for Potable Water

Preparation

Surfaces are to be sound, free from existing coatings and contaminants – water-blast and skim concrete tank walls. Repair surface defects with CHEMBOND™ modified mortar. Fill joints, cracks and form fillets with SILCOR®  LM PU sealant. Install 35mm bond breaker tape to cracks, joints, corners as required for Class II membrane.

NOTE: In water tanks use 1.5mm x 200mm bandage of NEWFLEX Grey and Reinforcing PE Fabric to all internal corners.

Mixing

  • Use all appropriate PPE, rubber gloves and eye protection during use and application.
  • Put 15kg powder in a clean container, add 4-5 litres water, mix with electric drill - allow to stand 5 minutes, re-mix and use. Adjust water to suit application. Excess water will reduce strength and delay set time.
